Traditionally held on the first Wednesday in August, Playday is just what it sounds like - a national day of play for thousands of children and their parents, grandparents and carers at hundreds of community events across the UK. This year it is being held on Wednesday 7th August, although some events are being held in that week.

Gobowen (Gobowen Playing Fields)
Wednesday 7th August from 1.00 - 4.00pm
Details: Come along and celebrate Playday with us!
Activities will include - facepainting, art and crafts, messy play, bouncy castle, informal sports, giant games plus lots lots more! Best of all, it is all free and open to the whole family.
Wrexham (Queen's Square and Llwyn Isaf)
Wednesday 7th August from 12-4pm
Details: Wrexham will once again be celebrating National Play Day on Wednesday 7th August from 12pm to 4pm on Queen’s Square and Llwyn Isaf (the Guildhall field). People of all ages, from babies, children and young people to parents, professionals and grandparents, are invited to join in this free and fun event!
Shrewsbury (Kynaston Road Recreation Ground)
Friday 9th August from 11am - 3pm
