Magic Worlds at Liverpools World Museum 18 Oct 2013 - 2 Mar 2014

Enter a world of enchantment, illusion and fantasy! Imagine sipping tea at the Mad Hatter’s tea party, stumbling through the wardrobe into Narnia or casting a spell from a cauldron bubbling with frogs’ legs.

Magic Worlds explores ethereal realms of fairies, folklore, wizards and witches and contains more than 150 objects, including Harry Potter’s broomstick, Sooty and his wand and the Cottingley fairy photographs.

There'll be the chance to get hands on with interactive displays and little ones can dress up as witches, wizards, elves and characters from 'The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe' and 'Alice in Wonderland'.

At the storytelling tent, visitors of all ages can pause for a moment and enjoy listening to audio of the timeless tales of 'Cinderella', 'Snow White', 'The Little Mermaid' and 'Alice in Wonderland'.

Magic Worlds is a touring exhibition, curated by V&A Museum of Childhood London.  It will be at Liverpool's World Museum from 18th October 2013 until 2nd March 2014.

Free admission and only 5 mins walk from Lime Street Station.
